It brings us great sadness to announce that our Beloved Sweet Pea has passed peacefully today, October 11th, 2024. We are comforted by the knowledge that she got to live the last remainder of her life at peace with other dogs to run and play with in a very comfortable lifestyle. She was held and loved as she passed.

The Sparta Park Board is requesting sealed bids for mowing/weeding and/or edging at Roller Park, 837 Division Street, Sparta, Mo., a 12-acre tract of land, on a regular basis and for special events as needed. Sealed bids must be received by March 21st, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. for consideration. Sealed bids may be delivered to 200 North Ave. or mailed to P.O. Box 246, Sparta, Mo. 65753. The City of Sparta reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any irregularities received. The sealed bids will be opened at a Special Park Board Meeting on March 22nd, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Thank you!
